If you’ve been reading the papers closely over the past few months, you will have noticed that Adrian Chiles and Christine are no longer presenting The One Show (BBC One, 7pm). I know! Tragedy! But don’t worry. Cheeky Northerner Jason Manford and Bleakley look-a-like Alex Jones are the latest combo on the couch. Rather adorably, [...]

This month I was lucky enough to spend two weeks at the TV industry’s favourite B2B magazine Broadcast. It was great to be a part of the team, even in a quiet month like August, and I was given plenty of interesting articles. My favourite moments included interviewing Matt Edmondson for the Webwatch feature, and [...]

Mistresses is back! But, as critics have noticed, it’s not its usual perky self. Jessica can’t get pregnant, Trudie can’t stop making cupcakes, Siobhan can’t get Dan to marry her and Katie can’t get away from her conscience (who looks eeriely like Joanna Lumley…). Yeah, I’m still enjoying the catwalk of nice outfits from Whistles [...]

I love writing about telly, and was delighted to get an internship at an online TV & film website in 2008. I spent three months at the Screenrush offices in Paris working under Sarah O’Reilly, the then-editor of the TV pages. (You can see what I did if you follow this link). I helped her update the database, produce features about soaps and cult series and post daily news to the site. It’s still my favourite place on the internet to check cinema listings.
